1. TERMS & CONDITIONS PRODUCTLAB CONFERENCE
1.1 GENERAL TERMS
These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the purchase and use of tickets for ProductLab Conf ("Event") organized by ProductLab UG, located at Juelicher Straße 13, 13357 Berlin ("Organizer"). By purchasing a ticket, you accept these T&Cs. Any conflicting terms provided by you or a third party are invalid.
1.2 TICKET PURCHASES
1.2.1 Ticketing Platform and Pricing
Tickets are available exclusively through Stripe Checkout, via https://productlab.app/#store ("Official Platform"). Tickets purchased through unauthorized sources may be invalid.
Ticket prices are as indicated on our official platform.
Prices include VAT and are non-negotiable. Discounts may apply for early bird or bundled purchases as specified on the Official Platform.
1.2.2 Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods include Credit Card, Klarna, and SEPA (Bank Transfer).
Full payment is required upon purchase. Failure to complete payment may result in ticket cancellation after 30 days from the date of purchase.
1.2.3 Order Confirmation
Once payment is processed, a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address. This email will include:
A receipt
The ticket (PDF or QR code)
Instructions for accessing the Event and Workshops
It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact information during the purchase process.
1.2.4 Ownership and Transfer
Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Transfers, where permitted, must be completed through the Official Platform before the Event date.
1.2.5 Onsite Admission
Attendees must present a valid ticket and government-issued identification for entry.
Tickets can be presented in digital or printed format. Barcodes will be scanned for validation, and multiple entries using the same barcode are prohibited.
1.3 REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND RESCHEDULING
1.3.1 Refund Policy
Purchased tickets are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including in cases of sickness, non-attendance, or personal reasons, except in the following circumstances:
Refunds will only be issued in case of event cancellation or an unreasonable relocation/rescheduling of the Event.
A rescheduling shall be considered unreasonable if the new date creates an undue burden (e.g., conflict with international travel).
Force Majeure (see below) applies in exceptional cases.
1.3.2 Rescheduling or Cancellation
If the Event is rescheduled, your ticket remains valid for the new date.
No refunds will be provided unless the new date places an unreasonable burden on attendees.
If the Event is canceled, the Organizer will issue refunds or credit toward a future Event.
Refunds apply only to the ticket price (excluding service fees and related charges).
1.3.3 Force Majeure
If the Event is canceled due to circumstances beyond the Organizer's control (e.g., natural disasters, health restrictions, strikes, war), refunds or rescheduling options will be offered at the Organizer's discretion.
1.4 EVENT ATTENDANCE
1.4.1 Access and Identification
Each ticket holder will receive a badge or wristband upon entry, which must be worn at all times.
Lost badges or wristbands will not be replaced. Re-entry without proper credentials is prohibited.
The minimum age for attendance is 18. Attendees under 18 will be denied entry without refunds.
1.4.2 Code of Conduct
The Event enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, disruptive behavior, and possession of prohibited items (e.g., weapons, illegal substances).
Violators will be removed without a refund.
1.4.3 Workshops and Activities
Certain workshops and activities at the Event may be subject to limited admission or additional fees.
Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee access to all workshops.
Registration for workshops may require additional attendee details (e.g., company size, industry).
1.4.4 LAB Workshops - Intellectual Property and Usage Rights
"LABs" refer to specialized workshops offered before or during the Conference. Access to LABs requires a separate ticket purchase, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
LAB Material Usage:
Attendees may use materials provided in LABs for their personal learning and professional development
Attendees may NOT reproduce, repackage, or repurpose LAB materials as their own content
Attendees may NOT distribute LAB materials as company-wide training resources or knowledge base content
Attendees may NOT create derivative works based on LAB materials for commercial distribution
Any sharing of LAB materials outside personal use requires explicit written permission from ProductLab
LAB Access:
Each LAB ticket grants access to ONE workshop session, subject to capacity
If your selected LAB is at full capacity, you may choose an alternative LAB with available space
ProductLab is not responsible for providing space in your first-choice LAB if capacity has been reached
LAB selection is first-come, first-served based on registration order
1.4.5 LAB Facilitators - Responsibilities and Compensation
IMPORTANT: LAB facilitators (workshop instructors) are compensated for their time and expertise through workshop fees. In exchange for compensation, facilitators must:
Provide pre-workshop materials and content in advance of the Event
Submit presentation slides or workshop resources for review before the Event
Actively participate in ongoing marketing efforts, including social media promotion and content sharing
Cooperate with ProductLab's promotional activities for the workshop
Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in:
Deduction from the agreed workshop fee
Partial or full cancellation of payment
Termination of the facilitator contract
For complete details on facilitator obligations, compensation structure, and contract terms, please refer to the separate Facilitator/Speaker Agreement provided to all LAB facilitators.
1.4.6 Conference Speakers - Compensation and Support
NOTE: Conference speakers (distinguished from community event speakers) receive support from ProductLab, including:
Accommodation during the Conference dates
Travel expenses (transportation to and from the Event)
Meals and refreshments during the Event
Speakers are expected to participate in promotional activities and provide presentation materials in advance. Additional terms and conditions are detailed in the separate Speaker Agreement.
1.5 PHOTOGRAPHY, MEDIA, AND MARKETING
1.5.1 Media Consent
By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed or recorded.
The Organizer reserves the right to use these materials for promotional purposes across media platforms.
1.5.2 Conference Recording and Publication
IMPORTANT: The Conference will be recorded in its entirety, including presentations, panels, and workshops. By attending, you acknowledge and consent that:
Video recordings of the Conference may be published on ProductLab's YouTube channel and other online platforms
Photos from the Event will be shared on ProductLab's social media channels and website
Speaker presentations may be published online for educational and promotional purposes
These materials may remain publicly available indefinitely
If you do not wish to appear in recordings or photos, please notify Event staff upon arrival, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request where possible. However, given the nature of the Event, we cannot guarantee that you will not appear in some recordings or photos.
1.5.3 Restrictions on Personal Media Use
Attendees may use photos and recordings from the Event for personal purposes, including posting on personal social media or sharing within their own company for internal use only. However, attendees may NOT:
Sell or distribute recordings or images for profit
Submit photos or recordings to stock photo libraries or similar commercial platforms
Use Event media for commercial purposes outside their own organization
Reproduce or distribute Event content for resale or public commercial distribution
1.5.4 Sponsorship and Marketing Communications
Events hosted by ProductLab are often sponsored by partners such as companies, event organizers, or coworking spaces.
Data Sharing with Sponsors:
By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you acknowledge and consent that your registration information (including name, email, company, and job title) will be shared with the Event's main sponsors only. This data sharing is a condition of attendance.
How Sponsors May Use Your Information:
Main sponsors may store your contact information
Sponsors may use this information to send follow-up marketing messages, including hiring offers or promotional communications for their services
You may opt-out of future communications from sponsors by using the unsubscribe function in their emails or by contacting them directly
Your information will NOT be shared with:
Minor or supporting sponsors (unless they are designated as main sponsors)
Third-party vendors beyond main Event sponsors
Other attendees or general marketing lists
Data Protection Rights:
You maintain all rights under GDPR, including the right to:
Request access to your data held by sponsors
Request deletion of your data from sponsor databases
Withdraw consent for future marketing communications
To exercise these rights regarding sponsor-held data, contact team@productlab.app and we will facilitate communication with the relevant sponsors.
IMPORTANT: If you do not consent to sharing your information with main sponsors, you may not be able to attend the Event.
1.6 LIABILITY
1.6.1 General Liability
The Organizer is not liable for personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
1.6.2 Limitation of Liability
The Organizer's liability for simple negligence is limited to foreseeable damages arising from the breach of essential contractual obligations.
The Organizer's total liability for any claims arising from the Event, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the ticket price paid by the attendee or the amount covered by the Organizer's liability insurance, whichever is greater.
1.6.3 Wardrobe and Storage
Items stored in wardrobe services are at the attendee's own risk.
The Organizer is not liable for the loss or theft of valuables (e.g., electronics, jewelry).
1.7 PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
1.7.1 Data Usage
Attendee data will be processed in accordance with the Organizer's Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR requirements. Data is collected and processed based on the following legal grounds:
Contract performance: To provide ticketing and event access
Consent: For marketing communications and sponsor data sharing
Legitimate interest: For event organization and security
Your data will be used for:
Ticketing and event access management
Event communications
Legal compliance
Marketing communications (with your consent)
1.7.2 Data Retention
Registration data will be retained for 3 years following the Event for accounting and legal compliance purposes
Marketing consent data will be retained until you withdraw consent
Video and photo recordings may be retained indefinitely for promotional purposes
1.7.3 Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to:
Access your personal data
Rectify inaccurate data
Request erasure of your data (right to be forgotten)
Restrict or object to processing
Data portability
Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise these rights, contact team@productlab.app
Attendees may opt in to receive promotional communications. Consent can be revoked anytime by using Unsubscribe buttons, generally found at the end of emails.
1.7.4 Data Sharing
Personal data may be shared with third parties (e.g., main event sponsors) only as specified in the "Sponsorship and Marketing Communications" section above.
1.8 DISPUTES
1.8.1 Jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
1.8.2 Resolution
In case of disputes, the Organizer reserves the right to seek arbitration or mediation before pursuing litigation.
Decisions made by the Organizer regarding event operations and conduct are binding and final.
1.9 MODIFICATIONS AND UPDATES
1.9.1 Amendments
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these T&Cs.
Changes will be reflected on the official Event website and apply to all future purchases.
Existing ticket holders will be notified of material changes via email.
1.10 FINAL PROVISIONS
If any provision of these T&Cs is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
By purchasing a ticket, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these T&Cs.
2. TERMS & CONDITIONS PRODUCTLAB COMMUNITY
Terms of Use and End User and Mentor/Partner Agreement License Agreement
Effective Date: November 21, 2025
BY ACCESSING, VIEWING, OR USING THE PRODUCTLAB WEBSITE LOCATED AT WWW.PRODUCTLAB.APP (THE "SITE"), AND THE PRODUCT LAB COMMUNITY AVAILABLE THROUGH CIRCLE APP (THE "APP"), OR ANY TOOLS, SERVICES AND/OR SUBDOMAINS PROVIDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP OR THE SITE (COLLECTIVELY, THE APP, THE SITE AND ALL RELATED TOOLS AND SERVICES ARE REFERRED TO AS THE "SERVICE"), YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS OF USE AND END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT ("TERMS OF USE"). IF YOU OBJECT TO ANYTHING IN THESE TERMS OF USE OR OTHERWISE DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE AND UNINSTALL THE APP IMMEDIATELY.
These Terms of Use set forth the terms and conditions of Product Lab ("Product Lab") applicable to your use of the Service. Product Lab encourages you to read these Terms of Use carefully. For purposes of these Terms of Use, "Product Lab" means and includes Product Lab and its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, as well as its and their investors, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and assigns. "User" means each person who accesses or uses the Service, whether or not such User personally installed the App or created an account.
You understand and agree that Product Lab may revise, modify, and/or supplement these Terms of Use (the "Revised Terms of Use") at any time. Any Revised Terms of Use will be effective immediately after notice is sent to you via email. If you do not agree to the Revised Terms of Use, you must stop using the Service, close your account (and uninstall the App). You can close your account through the Account Settings in your User Profile on the Site or by emailing team@productlab.app. By continuing to use the Service following notice, or by failing to close your account or uninstall the App, you hereby expressly agree to be bound by the Revised Terms of Use and acknowledge that your continued use of and access to the Service is valid consideration for the Revised Terms of Use.
If you are a paying member and you close your account due to rejection of the Revised Terms of Use before your paid membership term has ended, you may seek reimbursement for the paid pro rata balance of the remaining membership by emailing us at team@productlab.app.
2.1 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
2.1.1 Electronic Transactions
By using the Service, you agree to transact electronically through the Site and App, as applicable. You agree that your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual signature. You further agree that your use of a keypad, mouse or other device to select an item, button, icon or similar act/action, constitutes your signature as if actually signed by you in writing. You also agree that no certification authority or other third-party verification is necessary to validate your electronic signature, and the lack of such certification or third-party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your electronic signature.
2.1.2 License
Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms of Use, Product Lab grants you a personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Service solely for your personal, noncommercial use except as expressly set forth herein. The Service will be in the form and format as determined by Product Lab in its sole discretion from time to time, and such form and format may limit or restrict use to certain types of devices at the exclusion of others and may have additional licensing terms restricting their use thereto. Such license is subject to these Terms of Use and except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, does not include: (A) any resale or commercial use (except as expressly set forth herein) of the Service or of any content or materials contained therein ("Product Lab Content"); (B) modifying or otherwise making any derivative uses of the Service or any Product Lab Content; (C) use of any data mining, robots or similar data gathering or extraction methods; (D) reproducing, distributing, publicly performing or publicly displaying the Service or the Product Lab Content; (E) reverse engineering or otherwise attempting to discover any source code; or (F) any use of the Service other than for its intended purpose. Any use of the Service or the Product Lab Content other than as specifically authorized herein, without the prior, written permission of Product Lab, is strictly prohibited and will terminate the license granted herein. Such unauthorized use may also violate applicable laws, including without limitation copyright and trademark laws. You understand and agree that Product Lab may report any behavior it observes and, in its reasonable belief, views as a violation of applicable laws, to the relevant authorities. Unless explicitly stated herein, nothing in these Terms of Use shall be construed as conferring any license to intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise. This license is revocable at any time.
2.1.3 The Service offers a platform
The Service merely provides tools, resources, and a venue to connect with other Product Lab community members. You understand and agree that Product Lab:
(A) does not employ, recommend, or endorse any Users and has no control over the acts or omissions of any Users;
(B) is not responsible or liable in any manner for the performance or conduct of any Users or other third parties, whether online or offline;
(C) makes no representations or warranties about the quality of the services provided by any User or about your interactions or dealings with other Users;
(D) does not screen Users or automatically conduct any kind of identity or background checks; and
(E) is not responsible for any injuries or other issues that might occur during professional work events, whether before, during, or after such events.
2.1.4 Recordings
Please note that we may record events through photographs and/or video and use these recordings for commercial and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, we advise you to refrain from attending these events.
2.1.5 Community Event Speakers - Volunteer Basis
NOTE: Speakers who participate in ProductLab community events (distinguished from the annual ProductLab Conference) do so on a volunteer basis without compensation. These speakers generously donate their time and expertise to support the community. ProductLab does not provide accommodation, travel expenses, or other financial compensation for community event speakers. Community event speakers are expected to participate in promotional activities for their sessions.
2.1.6 Transactions Are Between Users
The Service may be used to help obtain or offer services. However, Users transact solely between themselves, and Product Lab is not a party to any transactions between Users.
2.1.7 Eligibility
You represent and warrant that you currently meet and will continue to meet the following eligibility conditions ("Eligibility Conditions") for as long as you use the Service: (A) you are at least eighteen (18) years old; (B) you comply with all laws, rules and regulations in connection with your use of the Service and any services arranged through the Service; and (C) you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into these Terms of Use and to abide by all of the terms and conditions in these Terms of Use. If Product Lab becomes aware of or believes that there are violations of the Eligibility Conditions by any User or that the User has otherwise provided any false or misleading information, it may, among other things, suspend and/or terminate such User with or without notice at its sole discretion. If your account is terminated or suspended, you agree to make no further use of the Service after termination or during suspension. You understand and agree that Product Lab does not routinely verify that any or all of the Eligibility Conditions are met by any other Users and you further understand and agree that Product Lab is not responsible for assuring that the Eligibility Conditions are met or for any failure to suspend, terminate or prevent the use of the Service by Users who do not meet the Eligibility Conditions. You further understand and agree that you are solely responsible for making your own evaluations, decisions and assessments about whether to engage other Users to perform services, accepting any engagements offered by other Users or otherwise interacting with other Users.
2.1.8 No Professional Advice - Information Only
Any information, materials, content and/or advice provided through the Service, whether by Product Lab, Users or third parties, including without limitation the Product Lab LinkedIn account, the Product Lab parent association Berlinproductmanagers, are for informational purposes only. If you have specific concerns or a situation arises requiring professional advice, you should consult with an appropriately trained and qualified professional.
2.1.9 Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service in a manner that is lawful, relevant and proper to the applicable forum. Any use of the Service that Product Lab, in its sole and exclusive discretion, finds inappropriate or offensive or contrary to these Terms of Use may result in suspension or termination of your account with or without notice. Product Lab reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account with or without notice at any time in its sole and exclusive discretion, for any reason or no reason. In the event of any suspension or termination, you agree to make no further use of the Service after termination or during suspension. You understand and agree not to, and not to permit or encourage anyone else to, do any of the following in connection with the Service:
Defame, abuse, harass, harm, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (including without limitation rights of privacy and publicity) of others;
Reach out to the community or other members to sell services or goods
Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any profane, defamatory, infringing, hateful, distasteful, obscene or unlawful topic, name, information, materials or content;
Use the Service or engage with other Users for any purpose that is in violation of local, state, national, or international law, rule or regulation;
Upload files that contain software or other material that violates the rights of any third party, including without limitation intellectual property rights or rights of privacy or publicity;
Upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, spiders, cancel bots, corrupted files, or any other similar software, malware or materials that may damage, interfere with, disrupt, impair, disable or otherwise overburden the operation of any device, computer system or network;
Take any action that would undermine any aspect of the Service or use the Service in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, or inhibit other users from fully enjoying the Service or that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the functioning of the Service in any manner;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other User accounts, or other device, computer system or networks connected to the Service;
Harvest or otherwise collect information about Users without their consent;
Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose (except as expressly set forth herein) on the Service that are not appropriate or relevant to the Service;
Conduct or forward pyramid schemes, chain letters, surveys or contests on or through the Service, except where sponsored or created by Product Lab;
Impersonate another person or allow any other person or entity to use your user name, password or membership;
Post the same content repeatedly or spam - spamming is strictly prohibited;
Download any file posted by another User that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed through the Service;
Access, download, or copy any information, content and/or materials from the Service through artificial means (including without limitation spiders, scrapers, hacking devices, computer programs, bots or other such means);
Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, re-sell or exploit any information, materials or content on the Service; and/or
Restrict or inhibit any other User from using and enjoying the Service.
You understand and agree that Product Lab may terminate your use of the Service and any license rights you may have in the event that Product Lab reasonably believes you have engaged in any of the foregoing behaviors.
2.1.10 Being part of a LAB - Intellectual Property and Material Usage
"LABs" are specialized workshop sessions offered by ProductLab, typically held before or during Conference events. These workshops provide hands-on learning experiences with curated materials and content.
Usage Restrictions:
Participants in LABs may use the course content and materials provided for their personal study and professional development. However, participants are strictly prohibited from:
Reproducing LAB materials as their own original content
Repackaging LAB materials for distribution within their company as training resources
Creating company-wide knowledge base entries derived from LAB materials
Distributing LAB content to external parties
Using LAB materials for commercial purposes beyond personal learning
Students and external companies are prohibited from reproducing or using LAB content for purposes other than personal study without explicit written permission from ProductLab. Any unauthorized use of LAB materials may result in legal action.
2.1.11 Payment Terms
Most ProductLab services are offered as one-time payments on a pay-as-you-go basis.
For any services that do offer subscription or recurring payment options:
The terms of renewal and cancellation will be clearly specified at the time of purchase
You may cancel recurring services through your Account Settings or by emailing team@productlab.app
Refunds for one-time payment services are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed except as expressly stated in the specific terms for that service
Upon registration for any paid service, you agree to pay ProductLab the applicable fees at the prices then in effect, and you authorize ProductLab to charge your chosen payment method in connection therewith. ProductLab reserves the right to correct any payment errors even if it has already requested and/or received payment. ProductLab may use third-party payment processing services to process credit card payments and information in connection with the payment of fees and other amounts payable in connection with the Service.

3. VOLUNTEER / SPEAKER / FACILITATORS AGREEMENT
Effective Date: November 21, 2025
This agreement governs the relationship between ProductLab UG and individuals who contribute to ProductLab events and activities in various capacities.
3.1 OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
3.1.1 Collaborator Contributions
By participating in events, workshops, or any other initiatives organized by ProductLab, all collaborators, including but not limited to those who run the events, provide marketing support, or contribute to similar business initiatives (collectively, "Contributors"), agree that any content, ideas, materials, or contributions created or shared during these activities (collectively, "Contributions") are the exclusive property of ProductLab. Contributors hereby assign all rights, titles, and interests in and to their Contributions to ProductLab, including but not limited to any intellectual property rights.
3.1.2 Community Event Speakers - Volunteer Participation
Speakers who participate in ProductLab community events (excluding the annual ProductLab Conference) contribute on a free, volunteer basis. These speakers generously donate their time and expertise to support and enrich the ProductLab community without expectation of financial compensation, accommodation, or travel reimbursement. Community event speakers retain ownership of their presentations but grant ProductLab promotional usage rights as described below.
3.1.3 Conference Speakers - Compensation and Support
Speakers at the annual ProductLab Conference (distinguished from regular community events) receive support from ProductLab, including:
Accommodation for the duration of the Conference
Travel expenses (round-trip transportation to and from the Event location)
Meals and refreshments during the Conference
Conference speakers are expected to:
Provide presentation materials and slides in advance for review
Participate in promotional activities, including social media engagement and content sharing
Cooperate with ProductLab's marketing team for event promotion
Conference speakers retain ownership of their presentations and related materials. Additional compensation terms and obligations are detailed in separate Conference Speaker Agreements provided to each speaker.
3.1.4 LAB Facilitators - Compensation and Obligations
IMPORTANT: LAB facilitators (workshop instructors) are compensated for their time and expertise through workshop fees as agreed upon in individual facilitator contracts. In exchange for compensation, facilitators MUST:
Provide all workshop materials, slides, and resources at least 14 days before the workshop date
Submit materials in formats specified by ProductLab for review and approval
Actively participate in ongoing marketing efforts, including:
Social media promotion of the workshop
Sharing promotional content on personal and professional channels
Providing testimonials or promotional quotes when requested

Failure to Fulfill Facilitator Obligations:
Facilitators who fail to meet the above requirements may face the following consequences:
Partial deduction from the agreed workshop fee proportional to unmet obligations
Full cancellation of payment if materials are not provided or are substantially incomplete
Termination of the facilitator contract
Exclusion from future ProductLab opportunities
Complete details regarding facilitator compensation structure, payment schedules, material requirements, marketing obligations, and contract terms are provided in the separate Facilitator Agreement, which all LAB facilitators must sign prior to their workshop.
3.1.5 Speakers' and Facilitators' Intellectual Property
Speakers and facilitators at ProductLab events retain ownership of their presentations and any related materials they create. They have the discretion to decide whether or not to share their presentations with the community online. If a speaker or facilitator chooses to share their presentation, they grant ProductLab a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the presentation for educational and promotional purposes.
3.1.6 Photographers' Intellectual Property
By participating in ProductLab events, photographers agree to assign all rights, titles, and interests in and to the photographs they take during these events to ProductLab. Photographers grant ProductLab a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the photographs for educational, promotional, and commercial purposes. Photographers acknowledge that their participation implies full transfer of economic rights over the photographs to ProductLab without any obligation for further compensation, while retaining their moral rights as permitted under applicable law.
3.1.7 Volunteer Basis for General Contributors
All contributions by general collaborators (excluding compensated conference speakers and LAB facilitators) are made on a volunteer basis. ProductLab does not provide any financial compensation for the work or contributions of volunteer collaborators. Participation as a volunteer collaborator is entirely voluntary and does not entitle the individual to any payment or benefits.
3.1.8 No Claims
Other than the rights retained by speakers and facilitators as specified above, all other Contributors acknowledge and agree that they shall not claim any ownership, authorship, or intellectual property rights over the Contributions beyond their retained moral rights. ProductLab retains the right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the Contributions in any manner it deems appropriate, including for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes, without any obligation to provide compensation or credit to the Contributor beyond what is required by law.
3.1.9 Indemnification
Contributors, speakers, and facilitators shall indemnify and hold harmless ProductLab from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of their Contributions, including any claims of infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
3.2 MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT
ProductLab reserves the right to modify this Volunteer/Speaker Agreement at any time. Changes will be communicated to active contributors via email and posted on the ProductLab website. Continued participation after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

4. SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT
Effective Date: November 21, 2025
4.1 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
ProductLab offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities to companies interested in supporting our events and engaging with our community. Specific details regarding each level of sponsorship will be provided in a separate sponsorship agreement.
4.2 SPEAKER AVAILABILITY AND SPONSORSHIP
Please note that speakers participate in our events on a volunteer basis or under separate compensation agreements. In unforeseen circumstances, a speaker may become unavailable. In such cases, ProductLab will use its best efforts to find a suitable replacement speaker of comparable expertise and reputation. However, sponsorships are non-refundable and non-cancellable due to speaker changes or substitutions.
4.3 EVENT AVAILABILITY AND SPONSORSHIP
In the unforeseen circumstance that ProductLab needs to postpone an event, sponsorships will be transferred to the rescheduled event date. Sponsors will be notified as soon as possible of any postponements and will have the opportunity to discuss alternative arrangements if the rescheduled date is not suitable. If an alternative date cannot be agreed upon, sponsorship fees may be applied to future ProductLab events within 12 months of the original event date.
4.4 SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS
Sponsors will receive a variety of benefits based on the chosen sponsorship level, which may include:
Social media promotion: ProductLab will promote the sponsor on its social media channels leading up to and during the event
Community coverage: The sponsor will be featured in online and offline community materials related to the event
Prominent branding: The sponsor's logo will be displayed on the event's main advertising materials and listed in the event description
Commercial use of photos/videos: The sponsor may use photos and videos taken at the event for commercial purposes, with proper credit given to the photographer or videographer
Access to attendee contact information (for main sponsors only, with attendee consent as specified in conference terms)
4.5 ADDITIONAL SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS (ADD-ONS)
Speaking opportunity: Gain a speaking slot at the event to present the sponsor's company and services
Dedicated exhibition space: Have a designated booth or area at the event to showcase products or services
Advertisement placement: Place advertisements within the main presentation slides or event materials
Participant email access: Receive a one-time email blast to the list of event participants (subject to attendee consent)
Custom promotional opportunities: Discuss additional promotional arrangements with ProductLab
Merchandise branding: Have the sponsor's logo printed on event merchandise (t-shirts, bags, notebooks, etc.)
Reserved tickets: Purchase a guaranteed number of tickets for the event for sponsor representatives
4.6 LEGAL TERMS
4.6.1 Acceptance and Modification
By entering into a sponsorship agreement with ProductLab, the sponsor agrees to these sponsorship terms. ProductLab reserves the right to modify this sponsorship section at any time. Material changes will be communicated to existing sponsors and will apply to future sponsorship agreements.
4.6.2 Limitation of Liability
ProductLab's liability under this sponsorship agreement shall be limited to the amount of the sponsorship fee paid by the Sponsor. ProductLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from this agreement, except for damages arising from ProductLab's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
4.6.3 Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, terrorism, government regulations, or labor disputes (collectively, "Force Majeure Events"). In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the affected party will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify the other party as soon as practicable and will use its best efforts to resume performance of its obligations as soon as possible. If a Force Majeure Event continues for more than 3 days, either party may terminate this agreement upon written notice to the other party.
4.6.4 Termination
ProductLab may terminate this agreement immediately upon written notice to the Sponsor if the Sponsor:
Breaches any material provision of this agreement and fails to cure such breach within a reasonable timeframe specified in writing
Becomes insolvent, bankrupt, or subject to any similar proceedings; or
Engages in conduct that damages the reputation of ProductLab
Upon termination due to sponsor breach, sponsorship fees are non-refundable.
4.6.5 Indemnification
The Sponsor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ProductLab, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to the Sponsor's participation in the event or its use of the sponsorship benefits.
4.6.6 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this sponsorship agreement shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If negotiations fail, the parties agree to attempt mediation in Berlin, Germany, before pursuing arbitration or litigation in the courts of Berlin, Germany.
4.6.7 Confidentiality
The Sponsor agrees to hold in confidence all confidential information disclosed by ProductLab in connection with this agreement. "Confidential Information" means any information not publicly known that is designated as confidential by ProductLab, including but not limited to attendee data, event logistics, financial arrangements, and strategic planning information. The Sponsor shall not use or disclose any Confidential Information without the prior written consent of ProductLab, except as necessary to fulfill its obligations under this agreement.
4.6.8 Insurance
ProductLab recommends that the Sponsor obtain event insurance to cover any potential liabilities related to its participation in the event. ProductLab maintains general liability insurance for its events but sponsors are responsible for their own insurance coverage for their exhibition spaces, personnel, and materials.
4.6.9 Governing Law
This Sponsorship Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. The exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes shall be the courts of Berlin, Germany.
